Moderne Pflanzenforschung

Das Zentrum für Angewandte Pflanzenbiotechnologie (ZAP) dient als Plattform zur Unterstützung der Forschung im Bereich der Pflanzenwissenschaften. Es verbindet verschiedene Forschungsgruppen der Naturwissenschaftlichen Fakultät der Leibniz Universität Hannover (LUH). Das ZAP organisiert Technologieplattformen und eine Seminarreihe am Campus Herrenhausen der LUH.

Das Zentrum für Angewandte Pflanzenbiotechnologie (ZAP) dient als Plattform zur Unterstützung der Forschung im Bereich der Pflanzenwissenschaften. Es verbindet verschiedene Forschungsgruppen der Naturwissenschaftlichen Fakultät der Leibniz Universität Hannover (LUH). Das ZAP organisiert Technologieplattformen und eine Seminarreihe am Campus Herrenhausen der LUH.

Austausch im Pflanzenwissenschaftlichen Kolloquium

Biotechnologische Methoden sind für moderne Pflanzenwissenschaften unverzichtbar. Sie stellen wichtige Pfeiler für die Züchtung neuer Kulturpflanzensorten dar und werden bei der Lösung globaler Herausforderungen, z. B. dem Bevölkerungswachstum und dem Klimawandel, eine entscheidende Rolle spielen. Die Naturwissenschaftliche Fakultät der Leibniz Universität Hannover beherbergt Arbeitsgruppen, die ein breites Spektrum von molekularbiologischer Grundlagenforschung bis angewandter Biotechnologie und Gartenbau abdecken. Die Forschungsplattform ZAP soll know-how bündeln, Synergien schaffen und zur Einwerbung von Verbundprojekten beitragen. Hierzu findet ein regelmäßiger Austausch über unser pflanzenwissenschaftliches Kolloquium statt, in dem Vorträge nationaler und internationaler Sprecherinnen und Sprecher neue Impulse liefern.
